Onalaska Animal Hospital opens to meet veterinary care needs

ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT) – Onalaska Veterinary Hospital opened Tuesday – the first new veterinary practice to open in La Crosse County in 30 years.
Veterinarian and owner Nicole Azene said the number of dog and cat owners in La Crosse County has increased 30% over the past 30 years, so the community is ready to support another clinic.
“There was a lot of excitement and the reception was very warm,” Azene said.
The veterinary hospital, located on 12th Avenue South in Onalaska, offers a full range of services, from vaccinations and dental care to surgery and radiology.
Dr. Azene is a Certified Fearless Veterinarian and said the clinic was designed with this in mind. There will be separate waiting rooms for cats and dogs and a comfort room for animal retrieval.
To make an appointment and find out more about the clinic, you can go to Onalaska Veterinary Hospital website.
