AFS is sponsoring an adoption event at the McKamey Animal Center this weekend

McKamey Animal Center is thrilled to invite the public to its latest adoption event sponsored by AFS, a Groundworks company. AFS has generously agreed to cover the adoption costs of all adult and senior pets adopted by MAC between Friday April 29th and Sunday May 1st.

The CMA is very grateful to its community partners like AFS. “Partnerships like this are what really help save lives in our community,” said Lauren Mann, Director of Advancement. “AFS is a wonderful company that is truly dedicated to giving back to the community – pets and people.”

McKamey Animal Center currently has more than 60 adoptable animals looking for a loving new home, with more being made available for adoption every day. To see all animals currently available for adoption, please visit

This special offer does not cover city license fees, leashes, collars, carriers, etc. Adoption will be done on a first come, first served basis. Appointments to visit adoptable animals are not required (unless you currently have a dog at home and would like to bring them for a dog-to-dog encounter, in which case please call our placement team at (423 ) 305-6514.
