“I just want my dog back”
TOWNSHIP OF WEST BLOOMFIELD, Michigan. – A Detroit woman boarded her dog with a West Bloomfield Township veterinary hospital and they lost his dog while walking him.
Donna Tucker left her 9-year-old dog at Animal Hospital Maple Orchard. She said the hospital called her a day later to tell her they had lost her dog and she had been looking for the shepherd/husky mix ever since.
“My dog swiped it and ran across Orchard Lake Road into the Deerfield Subdivision. Now she was there for a few days and then she crossed the Northwestern Highway to the south side of the Northwestern Highway,” Tucker said.
She said veterinary staff searched for her dog while she was in Arizona.
“I just cried the whole vacation. I was uncomfortable and I — I’m just livid about the whole thing. I just want my dog back,” Tucker said.
She deposited dog bones in areas where people said they had recently seen her dog. She also put up posters. She doesn’t share her dog’s name because she doesn’t want people calling or approaching her.
“And it won’t come to anyone but me. Now I’m asking them to take pictures, let us know exactly what she was doing and which direction she was going, and then we’ll come get her,” Tucker said.
If you see this dog you should call 810-569-1074 or 313-300-6217.
