Hillside Animal Hospital Pet Food Donation Supports WAFER in La Crosse
Donations will last approximately two months
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Thousands of pounds of food will help members of La Crosse’s furry family.
The significant donation to WAFER Food Pantry comes from Hillside Animal Hospital’s 12th Annual Pet Food Drive.
If someone doesn’t have enough money for food, they’re probably struggling to feed their pet.
“Often people who live alone, that’s the only interaction they have with their pets and those relationships are critical,” said Erin Waldhart, executive director of WAFER.
The donations will last about two months, she said.
