Knoxville, Tenn. (WATE) – The BISSELL Pet Foundation is helping shelters across the country, including the Young-Williams Animal Center, with reduced adoption fees.

Adoptable dog Tilly

All adoptable pets at the shelter, except puppies, can be adopted for $25, and the BISSELL Pet Foundation will sponsor the remainder of the adoption fee. The special will take place from May 5 to 9.

Our shelter is full of cats and dogs waiting for adoption this spring, […] We are grateful to the BISSELL Pet Foundation for being an outstanding and committed partner in the rescue efforts of shelters like ours across the country. We hope this Empty the Shelters event will ensure the animals in our shelter find the forever homes they deserve. The more adoptions we have, the more space we can provide for other stray and lost animals.

Janet Testerman, CEO of Young-Williams Animal Center
