East Bend Animal Hospital is holding a raffle to raise funds for Second Chance Bird Rescue

BEND, OR (KTVZ) — East Bend Veterinary Hospital is currently running a fundraising raffle through May 10 for a local bird rescue, Second Chance Bird Rescue based in Bend. The rescue is performed by volunteers who volunteer their time to clean the cages, feed the birds, and educate the community about the different types of birds and proper care.

East Bend Animal Hospital’s Dr. Brett Thomas and Certified Veterinary Technician Cristina De la Mora attend the rescue to provide veterinary care and nail clippings to birds in need.

East Bend Animal Hospital has a dedicated table in its lobby where anyone can purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win five different packages; a wellness package (examination and vaccinations for a pet), a senior blood test, a VOM package (six veterinary orthopedic manipulation treatments), a laser package (six high-intensity class IV laser treatments) or an Anal Glad Expression package (six anal gland expressions) that can be claimed on an animal of the customer’s choice.

The veterinary hospital will match 100% of what is donated to Second Chance Bird Rescue.

No time to stop by the East Bend Veterinary Hospital? Donate directly to Second Chance Bird Rescue via PayPal or Venmo using this phone number, 916-956-2153, and mention “EBAH” in the description of your donation.
